Tlws Johnson
For the last twenty years my passion has been for glass. I love the colours and textures, the variety, and the light changing properties within the glass. I am never bored by what can be done with this simple everyday material. My work often has a narrative theme, usually close to nature, especially the sea and woodlands. Recent fused pieces feature drawings from a wide variety of subjects.I also make cast class sculptures from tiny ammonites to big pieces with rocks and fossils predominating. Light is an integral part of my work.
