Julie Brown
As a printmaker I combine the techniques of collagraph, drypoint, monoprint and screenprint in my compositions. Themes of pattern, order and sequence are the subject for most of my work and the results are usually non-figurative. Colour is an abiding passion! I have a strong family background of wallpaper and fabric design. In my professional life I was an Early Years teacher and also managed to study for both a History of Art and a Fine Art BA. I work at Bodenpress printmaking studio near Tring in Herts. and in my own garden studio in Thame in Oxfordshire
