Riding The Waves Sling Bag
This cross body sling bag by Elizabeth Bond has been marbled and painted with leather acrylics. The bag is made from vegetable tanned leather that has been wet moulded to help shape the bag. The colours used on this bag are red, blue, and white.
The bag has some hand stitching on the base to help keep your bits and pieces secure. The bag is held closed by two Sam Browne studs. The leather can be a little stiff on a new bag so don't be afraid to give this a good push.
The bag strap is fully adjustable and removable, held in place by two lobster clasps, that clip to two 'D' rings. The strap is 2.5cm wide and the length can be adjusted from 89cm to 122cm. The strap has two keepers. The hardware on this bag is brass nickel. There is an additional fixed strap that holds the 'D' rings in place that can also be used to hold the bag with your hand as a clutch bag.
The bag itself is 14cm high, 23cm wide and 5cm in depth. The bag is unlined. The designers name is stamped on the back of the purse.
The nature of this hand made product means that there will be occasional paint residues and tool marks that are all part of the hand made process. This adds character and means your bag is truly unique.
