Cathy Timbrell
Although my work is often influenced by what can be found lying around, sea shore detritus, rock pools and patterns in the sand, much of my pieces reflect the technique I’m using. I love to learn new ways of making jewellery such as fusing silver, incorporating vitreous kiln fired enamels, fusing gold foil to silver (Keum Boo) and texturing techniques. I use precious and semiprecious stones for accent and to add sparkle and oxidise the silver for contrast.
Please note : If you are purchasing a piece from the FLOW exhibition at the River and Rowing Museum in Henley we can arrange delivery after August 31. We will contact you once your purchase has been made. for any enquiries please contact us at info@buckinghamshirecraftguild.co.uk
