This is a photoetching and gilding inspired by Mycelia which are incredibly tiny 'Threads' of the greater fungal organism that wrap around or bore into three roots. Taken together, mycelium composes what's called 'mycorrhizal network' which connects individual plants together to transfer water, nitrogen, carbon and other minerals.

I created this series of part of 6 prints to celebrate Mycelia.
